LAMEIRINHO recognized with innovation award at TECHTEXTIL 2026

LAMEIRINHO – Indústria Têxtil is part of the project distinguished with the Techtextil Innovation Award 2026, in the category “New Chemicals & Dyes”, reinforcing its strong commitment to sustainable innovation.

Developed in partnership with CITEVE and CeNTI, the project led to the creation of bio-based (over 94%) and water-based textile printing pastes, offering a viable alternative to petroleum-derived solutions. These formulations incorporate biopolymers sourced from food industry by-products and pigments obtained through the processing of natural waste materials, such as vine prunings, pine bark, and biomass ashes.

The solution was successfully applied in rotary printing processes, enabling the production of textiles with high print quality, strong technical performance, and a significantly reduced environmental impact.

This innovation was showcased at Techtextil, highlighting LAMEIRINHO’s contribution to shaping a more sustainable future for the textile industry.
